This Privacy Policy explains what Clinical Modality collects, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website, account features, newsletter, and paid educational products.
Last updated: July 12, 2026
If you sign in or create an account, we collect the information needed to run that account, such as your name, email address, role or access level, and session records. If you use Google sign-in, Google provides basic identity information such as your name and email address. We also support email-based sign-in.
We currently use one-time Stripe Checkout for bootcamp seats and course certificates. Stripe processes payment details. We store purchase records needed for access, support, accounting, and fraud prevention, including email address, purchase kind, amount, purchase status, and Stripe identifiers. We do not store card numbers.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and optional role and country fields so we can send relevant updates. Newsletter delivery is handled through Beehiiv, and subscribers use double opt-in. You can unsubscribe through the link in any newsletter email.
We use self-hosted Umami analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as page views and referrers. Umami is configured as privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or ad trackers.
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, and any context needed to respond.
We use a small set of providers to operate the site:
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with sponsors, advertisers, or affiliate partners. We do not currently use Google Analytics. If Google Analytics or similar nonessential analytics are enabled later, they will be behind consent.
We use cookies only for essential site functions, such as sign-in, session security, and authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or affiliate tracking cookies. Umami analytics is cookieless.
Clinical Modality content is made by real people, not generated as AI content. We do not use your personal data to create advertising profiles or to sell vendor-sponsored placements.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. We handle these requests manually by email.
To make a request, use our contact page or email hello [at] clinicalmodality [dot] com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
We keep account records while your account is active or as needed for support, security, and legal reasons. Purchase records are retained as needed for accounting, access, tax, refund, and fraud prevention obligations. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, subject to records we may need to keep for compliance. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to respond and maintain a reasonable business record.
Clinical Modality serves a worldwide professional audience with educational content about healthcare technology workflows. The site is not for patient care, and you should not send patient information through the site or contact forms. Your information may be processed where we or our service providers operate.
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, such as access controls and encrypted transport where appropriate. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Questions about this Privacy Policy or data requests can be sent through our contact page or by emailing hello [at] clinicalmodality [dot] com.
